17 August 2011 to 5 September 2011
Kindly ensure that you continue to practise accounting questions and you WILL definitely pass the papers with good grades. Remember Ms Ng & Mr Lai shall colour our hair if
98% of DAC students or
95% of other prorgramme students
PASSED ABFA1013 and the vouching shall be done independently by the program supervisors. The count down is on and the challenge still stays. GOOD LUCK.

Hello IA Students,
Are you struggling (yes i am) with the Statement of Comprehensive Income and Statement of Financial Position format? Still do not know which transactions should be in the Income or Expenses or Assets or Liabilities or Equity section? Do not be afraid cause I have a solution for you. Now, before you jump to any conclusion I would like to state that the process is MERELY TO HELP YOU TO REMEMBER THE STATEMENT OF COMPREHENSIVE INCOME AND STATMENT OF FINANCIAL POSITION format.Kindly do the following:
1. Check out the lecture notes on Lecture 7 page 4. You shall be able to see the format for Statement of Comprehensive Income and Statement of Financial Position right? Well, since you see them already I want you to START copying them into a fresh piece of paper.
2. Copy the format for Statement of Comprehensive Income and Statement of Financial Posisiton 30 times per student. If still cannot remember after 30 times increase to 60 times.(what the?)3. Look at the Statement of Comprehensive Income and Statement of Financial Position every day before you to to sleep. Do that until week 14, starting from today 21 July 2011.
If you have done ALL 3 steps above for at least 30 times before the exam, there is no reason for you to forget the format.
This is my disclaimer, I am NOT giving any tips or guideline for the exam. I shall not be responsible if there is no question on statement of comprehensive income or statement of financial position during the exam. So you are not allowed to sue me and say that I misrepresent cause I merely state that the process is to HELP you remember the format.
Remember, this exercise is merely to HELP you appreciate the statement of comprehensive income and statement of financial position format.
Remember students, the more you practise, the better you become. So like when you first learn to write A, B, C the process is the same. Practise makes perfect or was it permanent? :D
